For sending you sports equipment it is very important to pack the skis properly, so they'll arrive in good conditions to the destination Here we show you how you have to pack your sports equipment up.

Do I need an additional insurance?

If yours are high value skis and ski boots, we highly recommend you to hire an additional insurance. Although, it is not necessary to do it, if there is any incident during the shipment, the insurance will cover it. Look at our insurance section to now more.

Do I need any special packaging?

You don’t need a special packaging, but to send them inside their transport bag. Sinmaletas.com highly recommends cover up the pair of skis with bubble wrap and then do the same with the sticks. Wrap up the skis and the sticks together and put them inside the case; cover it with plastic wrap and place the safety kit. Remember to stick properly the label.

For the boots, send them inside its transport bag or a cardboard box. Remember to fill the empty spaces with polystyrene peanuts and to stick the label.

Send just a pair of skis per bag, as our insurance covers the registered package. If yours are high value skis and ski boots, we highly recommend you to hire an additional insurance.
